dragon doctors reccomend spending at least 12 hours total a week in your true form to fight off the mental health issues that often come with excessive time spent in altered shapes. Though this reccomendation may vary greatly with the individual; some dragons handle extended periods of months in their anthro forms quite well, and a few more trickstery ones thrive just fine in human disguise the majority of the time (though most dragons find excessive time spent in that shape to be quite grating indeed).
Those modern dragons whose living arrangements can accommodate for it typically prefer to sleep in their true forms. Some take regular outdoors naps on their days off. If you see a big scaly tail hanging from a rooftop, don't worry; it's just one of your neighbors curled up and sunbathing a little.
