okay so, i have. another game idea i want to make at some point
dieselpunk management sim where you're managing the supply lines and tech development of a faction in a war.
you don't have control over where troops or supplies are to be sent, nor where the fighting is or how it's performed. your job is to decide what potential developments to research and to manage sending people and materiel where it needs to go, including building new supply lines where necessary.
the tech developments would have a few 'endgame' paths you can only pursue one of:
- Blood-Fueled Automata
Machines fueled by blood, designed to fight in mankind's stead. (yes it's just an ultrakill reference fuck you) - Arcane Research
Throughout history, there have been myths and legends regarding abilities, artifacts, and other ephemera that defy fundamental aspects of reality in their function. There are some signs pointing to these having a grain of truth... - Localized Teleportation
While undoubtedly difficult to pull off, this would massively impact both combat and transportation.
