i think it would be really funny to have an isekai story but the pov character just keeps dying and ending up in more and more divergent realities from their original one. they get like a week or so in each and then oops, you died, onto the next
maybe you get a supporting cast in the form of other folks who are going through the same thing. also items get carried over, but if they relied on any infrastructure in the world they came from that's not present in the current one to perform a function then that function's just not gonna work
