Oooh! I had not heard this particular vocalisation before. Most I have only heard the SQUEAKS.
I know it's probably not the best thing since it sounds like food aggression but they're little bastards with each other most of the time so it's all the same anyway and we get to enjoy cute little hungy grumbles to boot
Yeah, I sometimes worry when I see clips of them being kept in groups, because like ... red pandas are solitary. They do not tend to get along, to the point my hometown zoo had to send their baby panda away when it got too old because the dad started picking fights with it.
