I really wanted to try doing coriolis in the style of riyoko ikeda. Something about cori's sweet baby suffering and the way sylvie describes her reminds me a lot of the kind of big eyed waifs ikeda specialises in. Mostly I have come to the conclusion that style is an elusive and nigh impossible to imitate thing, and that I'd need a thousand years more practice to get close to ikeda's level, but it was fun to make the attempt anyway. As usual I like the b+w one more, but something in my linework/composition wasn't up to snuff and so I think the colour one ends up being more readable.
