There was an interesting chat on the ranged touch discord yesterday about the sex scenes in bg3, and the pacing of them - lots of different opinions, all of them reasonable - but because of that the function of sex in fiction was on my mind. And then today I read otherside picnic volume 8, which has one of the best sex scenes I've read in ages, and which is just a peerless example of why you put sex in fiction. It works in every level, it progresses the characters' individual development, the development of their relationship, and it advances the science fiction plot. It's soooooo good.

Anyway I am banging my little drum: πŸ₯ please πŸ₯ read πŸ₯ the πŸ₯ otherside πŸ₯ picnic πŸ₯ light πŸ₯ novels
