yet also a lady

resplendent in an animalistic beauty,
both untamed yet civilized

a beautiful contradiction
a woman, an animal, a lady of distinction, a creature of legend

shining jewelry hanging from her horns
great wings spread wide, claws bared even as she grasps a dainty wine-glass

and dances wild dances beneath
the animals' moon

trying to fit at least a substantial part of my gender into a poem
