i need to engineer some kind of replacement for the pairs of thin metal strips that hold the claws to the fingers because wow these are a pain to put on and get situated. 3D printed thimbles or something idk
the rings are ideal because they're tight to the first knuckle, so they give you a surprising amount of control in the pitch axis, but are close enough to the fingers that you can gently to very not gently pinch even like, upper arm skin
these are ideal because they function as an extension of my fingers
