The U.S. Center for Disease Control updated its Adult Obesity Prevalence Maps today. Surprising no one, I'm sure, Americans are still getting larger.

Not a single state has an adult obesity rate below 20%. In 1996, all of them did.

Anyway, I think this is one of the reasons why cars in America have also gotten larger. The average American car buyer today would find the average 1996 automobile unpleasantly cramped.
