A friend upgraded their computer and offered to let me have some of their old parts to upgrade my own. This thing was shipped to me just loose in a cardboard box, rattling around with two whole-ass aluminum heat sinks. The box itself wasn't actually taped up so by the time it arrived to me, the GPU itself had fallen out of it at some point and was missing. Three weeks later, it shows up in a plastic USPS bag, apparently they were able to find out it was going to me.

Between getting tumbled around in a box with heavy metal chunks, and falling out of a USPS truck or something, the thing just shows up one day and it's bent. I don't mean like, just the bracket segment or the heat sink, the whole back plate carrying the circuitboard was very clearly bent in more than one direction. Even the contacts were slightly bent as the board was secured into the bent plate. Decided it was worth giving it a shot though, so I took a pair of pliers and just roughly bent things back into shape enough to at least be installable.

And yet, it's still going four years later. I am genuinely afraid of this GPU, it has seen some shit that no GPU was ever intended to see. I fully believe this GPU can and will put me in the hospital if I cross it. If not the morgue.
