this had such intense "Grunge Slang Hoax" energy that i had to go dig up the magazine and verify it wasn't photoshopped. it's not, but it is a quote from a book, Defending the Galaxy The Complete Handbook of Vldeogamlng (1982) one of the many "videogame exploitation" (to coin a phrase) books that came out around that time.
i am busy doing other things right now so i am not going to read this book at the moment but my guess is that it's jam packed with absolute fabrications. this spread feels like it says a lot
