they’re fuzzy! the “slime” comes from the fact that theyre made up of millions of tiny fuzzy critters all fluidly locked together into a larger being. their fuzzy fluff sticks to other dust slimes and they share a sort of hive type intelligence through the small static electricity they generate. they dont do well in water but let them dry out and theyll be perfectly fine.
they probably taste like fresh laundry and if you kiss them you get gently zapped, and they get even sillier and stupider because oops, that charge is what makes them smart
