Something that I found really nice about Cohost is how easy it is to get everything going, and to find people that you're interested in following. Just browsing the introduction tags is enough for me to find friends and other cool people I knew from other places, or just looking around circles I'm interested in. This is something I've had a much harder time with on other websites.
For example, I created a Mastodon account a few days ago, and I was curious about how it works. It was a bit difficult to get used to the instances, but after a while I got a grasp on how everything works, however something about the UX in that website just feels off to me. I'm having a much harder time finding my friends, or just a general community to talk with. Not sure if it's something about the website I'm not quite used to, or it's just a me thing.
I didn't even have that hard of a time finding people on Twitter, but for obvious reasons I've lost a lot of interest in viewing the website at this point.
