I play games and make mods, I sometimes ramble and talk about life stuff.
Honestly I relate to this so much. I'm sex-averse, and I never could myself get into a romantic relationship myself, it just always felt off and uncomfortable to me, and at some point I realized they just aren't for me. Media tend to show romantic relationships as the way to live a happy life a lot of the time, but in reality it's different for everyone. It's not an universal experience, and it's not what works for me.
Aro-ace people often aren't treated seriously due to them experiencing love in a different way, and honestly that's pretty saddening. I remember that when I was younger, people were often surprised that I have no interest in marriage or having children, but well... that's just how I prefer living, and I don't want to force myself into a situation that'd make me unhappy. Some people find friendship or other non-romantic/sexual relationships more important, and they don't deserve to be shamed or looked down for.
