The core of conservatism is that hierarchy is natural and good, that all men are not created equal

bsky post going around with people grappling with this idea for perhaps the first time in their lives and that's understandable; many of us are taught that we all want a better world, we just disagree a little bit on how to get there, and that has led to the dangerous assumption that debate is always the correct strategy to maybe at least come to some sort of compromise. It's bad and makes you a bad person to "other" others.

Nope. It turns out you can't debate them. In fact, that is the worst possible response to their ideology. The only thing that could remotely have a chance of snapping them out of it is having their worldview almost entirely destroy their lives and their relationships, and even that's not a guarantee if you've been following qanon shit.

Most people simply do not want to control others with the same level of obsession these assholes do. It's about as alien a concept as being able to see radio waves; you can sorta conceptualize it and analogize, but you will never feel it the way they do.

You will never feel that distress of facing a world not built on rigid hierarchy. You will never feel the thrill and duty of the battle between inherent good vs inherent evil. You will never experience the subtle currents of panic and fear of standing in line at the checkout for groceries and hearing someone behind you speak in a foreign language. Any kind of compromise that seems inconsequential to us is asking them to accept a little bit of hell into their lives, and for them the stakes are apparently high enough to accept and even cheer on mass murder and suffering.

And oh yeah by the way their intention fully is to kill you all and they would prefer it to happen as easily as possible because cowardice is also a core value.
