Stumbled across this map of North America Turtle Island, which shows the natural features of the continent without national borders and with traditional indigenous names for major cities and various archaeological sites.
Not gonna lie, this is so cool. And Turtle Island sounds so much more poetic than the latinization of some random Italian guy’s name.
