"Are you still fussing about your nightmare?" Your partner calls from the other room. "You haven't touched your meal love."
"Its lost a lot of weight dear, I don't know why." I shot back, fussing over a tentacle again. It languidly looks at me with its myriad eyes. "... Do you think we need to start feeding it something other than humans?"
There was a pause from the kitchen. "Like?"
"Well, maybe we should take it with us deer hunting?" Its eyes lit up at that. I giggled. "No, we are going to take it hunting with us."
"Oh my gods." My partner grumbles.
