I am a doll, I was made to be a doll by the cult I was raised in, by the parents who wanted me to be a good boy.

And as it turns out, the doll bit was only half of it. I'm a fox doll, and a very good girl when I'm good, but in the immortal words of Emilie Autumn

And when I am a good fox, that is still being a fox, as I am certain your clade can attest to what that is like.
And just because I'm a doll, doesn't mean I'm going to give my service to everyone.

Regarding Erehwon Mercury Texeiria's time as a commissioned officer in Starfleet, we have only a fragment of a personal log entry, reading, "I'd kill [Crewman] Daniels if it were not for all the documentation I'd have to provide."
