You know what? I think there's too much candy getting exchanged come holiday time. Cancel me if you will but unless it's at least 80% cocoa, that's not real chocolate. And I'd rather see bake rolls, fancy cheese or dried mushrooms with my Christmas gifts.
I mean, just imagine if it became the new trend. Nuts and olives individually wrapped in coloured papers! Coffee beans in small plastic bags with snowflake print and a cute bow! Ramen noodle nativity! A block of mature cheese shaped like Santa Claus!
Say no to gingerbread cookies, and yes to a jar of marinated ginger!
