And all Eeveelutions are canonically vulpines, but Espeon is commonly portrayed as literally feline, what do you think of that~
Eeveelutions kinda blend foxes, cats, dogs, and occasionally other animals, though admittedly with more fox than any other animal. Espeon's tails are definitely catlike, as is its most iconic pose. Eeveelutions' snouts are generally more feline than vulpine. Sylveon literally meows in New Pokémon Snap. Jolteon's stubby tail (it is there, under the fluff) is a feature of some domestic dog breeds.
