It's genuinely weird that Ocarina of Time 3D didn't do anything to up the fidelity of the soundtrack, apart from the credits theme which was orchestrated. Possibly weirder knowing that an orchestrated version of the soundtrack was started, then scrapped above the composer's head in favour of the original version.
I also do kinda feel that the N64 quality sound contributed to OoT3D falling flat for us compared to its reputation.
