@SnepGem asked:

Since it’s Fursuit Friday, I’ll be asking this to a number of my furry follows:

Thoughts on fursuits/furry accessories in general? Do you own or want to own any, and if so, what are they/would they be like?

Fursuits are very cool, a lot of appeal. They're very (reasonably) expensive though, which along with sensory concerns, means they're practically not something we'll ever really get into.

Accessories are much more accessible, which is great. We tried to work up the courage to get a sylveon ear headband, back when Sparkles had a more typical ear design, but we never got around to it. The shop that was selling them's closed now, though they were mass produced official merch. We've been thinking recently about smaller stuff like that that we can get. Wouldn't have to be strictly furry, I've been thinking a physical set of my bracelets would be cool.1

The one thing we do have that's kinda funny is a jacket made of fabric the same colour as my fur. It's just enough like me to make my headmates feel slightly awkward wearing it.

  1. Obviously not made of real gold. Honestly, just something painted that colour would be fine by us.

I feel similarly about “traditional” fursuits, like with a head and everything, but I’d absolutely deck myself out with all manner of furry accessories if I just knew how. Gloves and boots and ears and tails and and and, etc etc etc…

God, I love jackets, though, and the color green, and somehow just hearing that you have a jacket that is green gives me a little dopamine. As for smaller, more affirming-ish, headmate-specific accessories, that actually sounds like a wonderful idea, though not one that applies to me. Thanks for answering btw!
