Honestly, I don't think we would. Between the extremes of Kharaya-do and UMBRA's aesthetics,1 the kind of world that we would all feel a connection to is quite narrow. And we've just not really connected to anything that fills that niche.
Like Lancre from the Discworld is definitely an aesthetically pleasing place, and the laws of narrative causality are effectively the basis for Sparkles and Echo's magic anyway; but it lacks to requisite technology to real feel like somewhere UMBRA would be? And if we added that in, it would kind of stop feeling like Lancre any more, undermining the whole point of this, I think.
Honestly, if the sleepy home village trope was as prevalent in urban fantasy as medieval, or we just read more urban fantasy, we could probably come up with something.
Overall though, I think it'd just be easier to make something original that draws parts we like from various contexts.
