my girlfriends are disabled in England, and her already precarious disability coverage is being axed
so England just announced disabled people have to actively look for jobs, and if they don't get a job after 18 months both their benefits and free NHS healthcare coverage will be revoked. We don't know if the timer begins now or is retroactive. Either way, my girlfriends are fucked
her PIP was already really fucky, and now her universal credit is on a timer that may already be up. This year has been really fucking rough for her as is, with multiple suicide attempts this year and a lot of personal things I won't detail publically
I've been trying to make enough money with my writing and drawing to support us both, but I currently am not even close to that goal. I just want my loved ones to be happy. I'm so fucking scared, and I have been all year. my girlfriends have been in so much pain, and things just keep getting worse
