Or at least why you need to make sure something has a good & cool curse so you can make preparations and enjoy it to the fullest
I'm sure she'll be keeping it around for fun and relaxation once she gets this specific situation resolved
Thank you for this! I'm glad this little drawing I did prompted this much thought! To be honest I don't think I ever expected anyone to put this much thought into something I drew?
Oh heh yeah, TF art always gets me thinking. This past year especially, i've been trying to analyze the motifs and functions and subtext of the genre, and a lot of it bled into this. So i think there is a vast expanse of untapped dissection to be had, and this is a kind of art i'm really interested in applying it to
(I've even been trying to make a proper taxonomy of transformations since i wasn't satisfied with any of the charts i found, like monchiken's which is featured on WikiFur. Maybe i'll be able to show that off soonish…)
I'm glad you appreciate it since i was a bit worried it'd come off the wrong way, i might do more of this if the mood hits
nice analysis

Yeah that kind of thing is also very fun. You could probably make another essay on the rise and semiotics of gameplay elements in furry art, i just don't play enough of these types of games to be able to present a thorough analysis
absolutely. we suspect some of those semiotics aren't furry-specific (or even transformation-specific) but some of them definitely are
like games are where a lot of the cultural energy of the present is, so of course stuff from them finds its way into other media
Hm, another element is probably the HUD giving ways to display and quantify and reinforce information in ways that would be difficult to express otherwise
oooo right (although we've seen an awful lot of transformation artwork in our time and people do get creative about it)
