Thinking about Pokémon demifurs; human frames and human skin, but still cleaely mons too
An easy example would be, say, Vulpix and Luxray; fur on their cheeks and noses, animal ears and tail, hair naturally coloured like their counterparts, maybe feet and/or handpaws, but mostly human bodies and faces and weaker powers than full Pokémon and anthros.
Though we could also go weirder! Someone who's part Roggenrola, for example; either they don't have eyes or are blind with eyes so they wind up using their big, rocky ears to navigate, and their rocky extremities have a weird transition to soft flesh but which isn't just a hard seam on a joint. Roggenrola is already uncommon in furry art, so why not go with something even more strange?
Idk what would cause this sort of creature narratively; magic tf? Fusion? Some folk just naturally being between anthro mons and humans? Still a neat idea Imo
it could be a thing that happens when a human accidentally activates an evolution stone and it picks up on a small piece of ambient poke-DNA (like a few pyroar hairs on someone's shirt) in the process (in an absence of poke-DNA, it would probably just default to some kind of less transformative expansion as well as adding more generic elemental traits, like vine hair with a leaf stone or finger webbing with a water stone).
could also be what happens if a human trains for a long time with a specific species of pokemon, the way psychically-gifted kids sometimes turn into abra per the 'dex. so a lot of black belts would have hariyama, machamp, hitmon, etc. demi-features, psychics would have alakazam, elgyem, gardevoir, etc. demi-features, swimmers with goldeen, magikarp, etc. demi-features, and so on and so forth. maybe especially if they're around a lot of evolving pokemon and they reach a new level of ability within a week of an evolution, and the evo energy just sticks to them. everstone jewelry probably wouldn't be super uncommon, especially if someone was just trying out a discipline or hobby, but human-evo hybridization would happen with some frequency, maybe with the chance of evolving into truer pokemorphs if they continue to train themselves without an everstone?
