Tomight might've given us a little bit of new insight into how we tick... We went into VR cofronting, with two headmates with utterly incompatible forms. So we had a kind of live feedback on what felt comfy. It was the pooltoy at first, for a while; then Charge started getting uncomfy so we swapped to the glowy hyenid; then frostbite had a public pooltoy dragon avatar to show off, and once we got bored of experimenting with that it'd pulled the pooltoy more to the front.
Which is very concrete evidence of fluidity while cofronting that's been hard to really observe in ourselves in other contexts. We did give up on updating our status part way through though.
The pooltoy's also getting some good practise with referring to itself in its preferred way, rather than defaulting to I/me, which is nice. It's a bit like a new name, where you kind of lag behind the change.
