not surprised about book winning but i am kind of surprised it won by an even bigger amount than the previous time even without the mystery of not knowing what it will do. but then again the other decree options seemed much more intentionally designed to be not voted for than their original versions. especially redistribute wealth which is a bit of a shame since it would have added two things i really would have liked to see with more player movement and a catchup mechanic. it just would have done both of those things really poorly imo
About sums it up really. I didn't want NEW Redistribute Wealth, because I don't want to lose my entire team in one go. I didn't want NEW Relegation because I didn't think other teams would want that to happen to them either (later confirmed with my long-time Georgias fan sibling). So even though I was in principle up for trying something different, NEW Open the Forbidden Book was clearly the choice for me.
Then I put all my votes into Guess Whose Thwack, because Beams had already piled 10k (tracked) votes into the Book.
