Something I do not understand is how I can find jesters cool and hot, and actually kinda be one, while also finding clowns overwhelmingly creepy and weird.

Wait I literally just remembered we had a custom character in Soul Calibur V who was a jester in pink/blue. Not a conscious influence, but probably where I picked the jester appearance up from.

Now that I've abandoned all pretense of a proper chost structure, I guess I'll just add more tangents. Jesters are kind of fae in general, right? A profession defined by trickery and mirth, whose practitioners are held to a different set of rules to most members of human society.

The Jester from Dungeon Defenders is probably the actual place Sparkles picked up the jester aesthetic from. She definitely instilled some feelings in us, and probably inspired the design of the aforementioned Soul Calibur character.
