So I have my eyes on a CD from the band Thou, where they collaborated with singer Emma Ruth Rundle to make one of the coolest metal albums I have ever heard. Here's the issue: They don't fucking sell the CD anymore, just vinyl.
I hate LPs for a ton of reasons (hard to transport, analog warmth is mostly a placebo, way more fragile than compact discs) yadayadayada but moreso I'm really irritated that the only way to get access to both the album and its companion EP on CD is to pay 30 bucks for for a limited edition CD, which was about 18-20 dollars new from the label.
It's ultimately not a huge deal but it does make me sad and I don't wanna be sad nyeh
