It's one of the few places I've been able to use them.
For example, Discord syntax highlights them, rather than displaying it.
Finally, someone else on this website made an animated SVG! This is adorable and I love the shadow effect
I mean, HTML+CSS animations are cool and all, but SVG rocks (well, except for doing animations by hand...).
I'm a little sad that Lottie seems to be getting more traction (for animations), but at least there's python-lottie and Glaxnimate (which can also export animated SVGs).
The drop-shadow was very last minute, but worked really well (handles the masking, blur, offset and alpha).
