not been to a hairdresser since i transitioned, hadn't gone for years before that either. i got somewhat thick, kinda wavy hair that refuses to tangle and it makes itself sorta pretty on its own, but definitely gets quite frizzy.

should i do the curly hair guide stuff on reddit with conditioner washing and mousse/gel? or is there a good hair style to get that works with my hair type and looks super gorgeous and feminine? or maybe i just get the ends trimmed so i can stop split ends and get ~even longer~ hair? should i be terrified that i got a kinda sharp widows peak hidden under my bangs because, ughgh, years of testosterone?

like what the fuck even is hair i am such a disaster. feel free to yell shit at me esp if you got me on discord and you have any clue at all.

I feel like it's probably worth going to a stylist at least once. Obviously the cost of that can bed too much to be regular, but styled hair is more femme than long hair and getting a glimpse of whats possible is powerful 😌

ya i need to get over this fear that i will step into a hairdressers and they'll just be like... horrible lmao. fuck. literal recurring nightmares.

it's prob a good first step, but i'm letting sophie go first. like when a bunch of penguins stand on the edge of the ice and one pushes another in the water to check for predators.

close in "you live in america and have a car" terms yeah!

i think there's one or two like that where i live but i kiiiinda just wanna walk in and be able to do the normal stuff with a regular hairdresser and be okay so i'm not paying extra for decent humans. i just want it all 😭
