fighting game execution seriously lights up my brain, if it's the right kind. i feel like every game teaches you a new shortcut or trick or whatever. today's trick was cvs2 king, a character who deserves no time or effort but i can't help it.
the combo: 2LKx3 (confirm standing), 63214MK (tornado kick).
inputting 2LK LK LK 63214MK was too slow, no combo. inputting 2LK LK 23632LK 14MK gets her super (2363214K) or a bunch of other overlapping misinputs. but inputting 2LK 2LK 5 632LK 14MK actually did it! it's KINDA fast to squeeze that inbetween chained lights, but doable. phew.
i was like "this is the dumbest combo and most effort to put into a mediocre light confirm i have ever seen" and then 15m later i was like "this is easy. this is fun. more characters should use this trick."
