I'll also point out that whenever a politician says that such and such number of jobs were created in a given month, they're just plugging a few economic values into an equation and trusting that it's outputting a result that reflects reality rather than actually checking if those jobs exist. It's always been kind of bullshit.

isn't it more like 35% of people unemployed right now according to BLS statistics? at the very least according to their statistics on "working age adults who do not have jobs" which why isn't that just called the unemployment rate
