You get to use one of the predetermined sets that isn’t supposed to work well with other stuff. You don’t get to pick who you want, you don’t get to make Your Character, you get to Buy Your Collection Hanger.
So true, bestie. This sucks even for straight guys like me. I remember dressing up my Niko in GTA IV in a fancy suit. He looked really good in it, and that got me thinking about how I would look in fancy clothes. But it's all good because now we get to pay $10 for Buff Peter McGriffin or whatever.
The death of character customization in favor of buying skins is a crime. Kids rarely get to experiment with style in video games nowadays, they almost always get funneled into an online market that's 90% corporate synergy and tie-in events. This is the world they grow up in and I'm afraid we won't even realize how much it's going to affect things until it's too late
