Got it running on the first try so I'm riding high on that
Here's the first real guitar neck I made. Left is under construction, right is after gluing the fret board but before final glue up.
All made with nothing but a (borrowed) band saw, a couple rasps, a spoke shave, and an unfortunate amount of sandpaper!
I built this 3 String Guitar from an old leather bound encyclopedia volume. The thru neck is poplar, the fretboard is walnut, the headstock is laminated walnut and poplar. I custom made the pickup ring from grapevine =)
