I'm going to end up putting double edged binding around the seams that may need to be stapled. Should look ok though
took an hour this morning to remove the old binding adhesive and finish removing the old finish from the neck. Next will be to sand it to 320, install the new fret markers, refret the board, add the new binding, add fret dots to the binding, and wait till it's warm enough to spray lacquer
I traded for a 1965 Zen-On Audition and am giving it a complete overhaul. New paint, new binding, new frets, new knobs (it was missing one), new bushings (they were all broken), and new tolex and velvet for the case! The electronics were amazingly all operational!
Now what to do with all these tools? I have like a half dozen drills at this point =p
