- Lynx with a plasma carbine was basically the MVP of the game, using her stealth and alien gun to elimine quite a few backfielders. Epsilon with an HMG also excelled in a similar role by utilizing his Climbing plus.
- I rolled +1 ARM on my Bounty Hunter, which I considered to be a useless upgrade, loudly declaring that I'd piss myself if it came up during the game. It did, a monkey landed in my deployment zone and lost, partially due to the Bounty Hunter saving by one.
- Last turn of the game was a hail-mary run with the Varangian to grab the enemy beacon with only a Taighaa creature able (or left alive) to intercept it.
- I rarely ever win. 6:1 was a huge victory for me.
