Intel Core 2 Quad: these suckers remained shockingly usable for yeeeears, even without any overclocking. if you're on Linux, you can still just about squeeze by with one.
AMD Ryzen 1-5: Ryzen CPUs have consistently kicked ass, especially compared to Intel's offerings. Finally left dual core CPUs in the past, and AM4 being supported for so long gives you a great selection to choose from.
anything RISC-V: RISC-V is fucking cool!!!!!!!!!!! fuck x86. this is the future. I hope. there's theoretical support for 128-bit CPUs!!! that rocks. love u RISC-V.
