and the cops too, of course. as unhappy as my family was, my parents never tried to use the cops as their personal bodyguards, the way that a lot of parents seem to love doing—calling the cops on their own kids, sometimes for the tiniest things ~Chara
my parents also tried to use the cops to send me to detention and these particular cops were also cultists. they usually did take kids to detention if a parent decided they didn't want to deal with the kid any more. unfortunately for them, tho, i knew computers and the cops wanted to play computer games which were banned by cult law so they needed an accomplice. needless to say. the attempt to have me arrested failed. as far as i know i was the only one who was able to avoid the arrest when parents decided they didn't want to deal with their kids anymore. thanks computer games for my pseudo-freedom cause i was still in prison the cell was just a bit larger.
