I was having a bit of a nostalgia moment remembering stuff that sold me on Minecraft all the way back in 2011, one thing being this song by Eric Fullerton:
And I was also remembering some youtubers from back then like jj5x5 and neoka28. well turns out I should not have checked up on what neoka is up to now 12 years later, they link their steam profile on youtube and there you'll find the words "loli lover", which is really disgusting and disappointing. like fuck man. I'm not gonna say "childhood ruined" or anything like that but that's so gross.
Anyways I think that Minecraft song still holds up, feel free to correct me but I feel like it was like the first big one in the genre that spawned other phenomenons like the captain sparklez videos (remember the viva la vida parody that even got a meme resurgence).
