sometimes I'll see a post about how "tumblr is so much better for artists", and all they talk about is how they allow 30 images per post... which is like cool, but I don't want to post 30 images at once. I just want my art to reach people and it's harder to do that there.
I'm really not sure it's all that better than the birdsite. I kept seeing well known artists on twitter saying "my work never reached people on tumblr" and I'm inclined to believe them over some rando saying tumblr is great, they experienced both platforms and the fact is tumblr isn't as great as they say it is. I don't have as many followers on tumblr as I do on twitter at the moment, and maybe I'm tagging wrong or something, but I haven't been seeing a good response or enjoying the site all that much apart from some funny posts. I dunno social media is weird and bad and at least twitter is the devil I know.
