This run was actually pretty fantastic, they pulled all the tricks flawlessly and in moments of RNG (where main story quests require you to find one specific monster in a massive dungeon) they found the werewolf instantly and the mummy didn't take long either.
My favorite parts of this run remain the kung fu flying, which is one of the silliest looking speedrun tricks in any game, I love it and it always makes me giggle, Daggerfall speedruns are all about how walls are merely a suggestion, flying through space is the most efficient way to get to your objectives and teleporting is super useful. Oh and kung fu, obviously.
I love Daggerfall, it's absolutely broken as shit and I never beat it (got to the last dungeon though), watching it be torn apart by speedrunners is cathartic, they just ignore the endless corridor mazes, they don't get insta-killed by vampires, etc. Part of me wants to go back but it's a rough game, even with the popular Daggerfall Unity port, my advice is open uesp.net and have that set aside to consult the optimal path through story dungeons if you're going to try and beat it. Also have a map of the story quests too so you don't get lost on where to go and what to do next.
