suddenly remembering a Ross's Game Dungeon quote for no particular reason:
"like it embedded a Do Not Work function deep in the registry"
I fundamentally don't understand how computers work but that quote feels relatable to me right now. Getting old software to run on newer systems is too often just a pain in the ass, I can handle troubleshooting when it's editing a .ini file to change resolutions or tweak minor things and even using a wrapper like dgVoodoo 2 but often things are beyond my grasp lol
