I don't regret my fucked up musical tastes, except when I want to bond with people over music, who the fuck's gonna have heard of Andwella's Dream or Kak or July or even the more popular ones like Ultimate Spinach. Very few people know about Carm Mascarenhas or C.A. Quintet or J.K. & Co or Nirvana (UK) or Art, Apple, Green, Dulcimer, The Gentle Soul, The Growing Concern, The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, the list goes on. I love a lot of things a lot of people don't know about and it's hard to relate when people talk about... I dunno a Kanye West album or something.
