i really value "phrasing criticism as politely as possible" a lot and i hate when people straight up shit over some work in an uncontrollable/irrealistic fashion, and i'm usually seen as the weird one when trying to calm down the situation and understanding their arguments.
i just think heated discussions like that don't bring any value, if that makes sense. i hope it's reassuring to see some of your pov be shared by some stranger over the internet lol
The thing is, it probably was phrased politely and I was incapable of discerning the whole tone of the conversation. You're definitely not the weird one when trying to understand what's happening though.
