The boy bands have won is a dated album (it was released in 2008), but still super worth a listen, Chumbawamba to me kept the folk process going in their later works, they made songs about current events, told several stories, made them melody to be sung and shared.
Unpindownable is what makes me say this album is especially dated, but there's some songs like Waiting For The Bus, which is about Gary Tyler and the struggles he went through that are timeless to me. Bury Me Deep singing about Thatcher and her absolute cruelty and there's even silly fun songs like Charlie which celebrate Charles Darwin and his accomplishments, "Charlie comes with opposing thumbs to question the almighty". It's very varied and there's a lot of great tunes within, I'd highly recommend listening to it.
