this cover of Sunshine of your Love starts out so subdued, I wasn't feeling it but then the distorted guitar comes in and it comes together a little more. seems they put out three whole albums of covers, this is the Cream songbook, one's a Beatles songbook and another Hendrix. I can't say I've seen a band do so many covers before and nothing original, I guess that's kinda notable? I'm going to listen to the Cream Songbook only out of curiosity, but yeah there's so much out there that's so unknown and obscure. thankfully not lost though.
edit: the rubber band feels like a studio project by a producer who just hired session musicians to make covers for cheap, three times. this isn't bad, whoever's playing on this record, they're good musicians, but something's missing. a little bit of soul to the whole project, this doesn't have what makes The Hobbits or Sagittarius or The Millennium special.
