do people even recognize what the term Machinima means anymore in (almost) 2023? Genuine question. Anyways, I've just relived a fever dream I watched part of a very long time ago and didn't even know it still existed since the collapse Machinima (the company) and with their youtube channels getting deleted.
Enter Mario Plush Forever. It's a simple concept on the surface, it's the Mario universe, they're all plushies, but it really goes places. I don't even know if recommending it to people is a good thing, but honestly if you have a tolerance for incredibly stupid early 2010s humor, violence and gore, it's something genuinely kind of special. The sheer amount of effort that went into producing this is incredible to me, the practical effects, the gore, the editing.
Watch it at your own risk, the beginning is rough but stick with it, I think it's worth it, things like this don't get made anymore, but if they do it's not often either.
