big pet peeve in games with guns is when they really don't understand how sights work. sometimes the back is taller than the front, sometimes they don't line up and it drives me up the wall, sometimes the front post is just missing. there's a lot of ways people have fucked up sights in games
edit: this post was inspired by red dead redemption 2, they have all those I'm pretty sure. for those reasons and nausea related ones I don't use the first person mode at all
My big pet peeve is when they make shotguns so inaccurate they are basically melee weapons...
god that is incredibly annoying too. shot travels a lot farther than games would lead one to believe, and slugs! a lot of games don't let you use different loadings and some (like RDR2) make the slugs too close range too so what's the point lol
Oh gods i know right? In 7 days to die you can make slugs but they legit are just stronger buckshot, they still have spread! They just do 10 times the damage! Thats not how slugs work!
lmao what the hell. have they ever seen what a slug looks like? it's a big fucking round, one round. I played a lot of 7 days but never used shotguns, I thought the AK was cursed enough with the sights, turns out it's all cursed. ๐
I play with a strength focused friend who uses shotguns and yeeeah... Having a choke helps, i find that state of decay 2 shotguns are only good with a choke and a sight, then you can practically snipe with them.
